We are a community of the Soka Gakkai International, a lay Buddhist network in 192 countries and territories. Everyone is welcome to learn, chant and attend a meeting.

The central practice of Nichiren Buddhism is chanting this phrase, the title of the Lotus Sutra. It expresses the teaching that every person has the Buddha nature and can bring out wisdom, courage and compassion to transform their circumstances.

Meet your neighbors in practice

Each month, members across Dallas–Fort Worth gather at the center and in members’ homes to chant, study and share experiences. Guests are always welcome, in English, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin/Chinese, Thai, Lao, and other languages.
